UDC

About This Course

This course introduces the fundamental concepts of 3D printing, covering the complete workflow from digital design to physical object creation.

Participants will learn how 3D printing works, how to design simple models, how to operate a desktop 3D printer and how to solve common printing problems. The course also explores practical applications of 3D printing in educational and care environments, including the creation of customized assistive products and adapted materials.

Through a combination of short lessons, interactive exercises and practical examples, learners will gain a clear understanding of the technologies involved in additive manufacturing.

By the end of the course, participants will understand the full 3D printing process, including model preparation, slicing, printer setup, filament handling and basic maintenance.

This course is designed as an introductory learning experience and does not require previous experience with 3D design or digital fabrication tools.
